Mombasa Marketplace
Mombasa Marketplace is a store located in the Africa section of Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The shop contains African-inspired souvenirs, along with wine, art, clothes, crafts, instruments, and toys.
Mickey Blog recently visited the location and noticed two NEW stuffed animals available for Guests. Let’s take a look at the adorable items!
Okapis
Okapis are rare creatures who live in the rainforest. The animal’s stripes mirror a zebra, while their body is built like a horse, and their head looks like a giraffe.
Unknown to the West until 1901, the Okapi is part of the giraffe family rather than the zebra. It lives in only one place, the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Fans of the adorable creature can pick up one of these sweet plushes. Priced at $19.99, they’re the perfect stuffed animal to cuddle up with this fall and winter!
Monkeys
Monkeys have always been a fan favorite at zoos. Their human-like behavior, coupled with their humorous personalities, makes watching them all the more fun!
Mombasa Marketplace now features a few new primate additions. The animals can hang from their hands which makes them perfect to display.
A soft exterior renders them ideal for cuddles as well! Guests at Disney’s Animal Kingdom can choose between a light or dark colored monkey.
Both are equally adorable! At $24.99 they’re priced a little higher than the Okapis, but the cost is worth it!
