‘Rogers: The Musical’ opens Marvel Panel at D23
One of my favorite things about D23 panels is their epic openings. The Marvel Panel on Saturday kicked off with a live performance of ‘Rogers: The Musical.’
We were first introduced to ‘Rogers: The Musical’ which follows the events of the first Avengers film in Marvel’s Hawkeye.
Clint Barton takes his children to NYC near the holidays to see ‘Rogers: The Musical’ in Season 1 of Hawkeye.
Even though Clint takes out his hearing aids and ends up leaving the musical early, his kids were excited to see “dad” portrayed on stage.
We have even seen billboard signs and advertisements promoting ‘Rogers: The Musical’ in scenes from ‘Spiderman: No Way Home.’
The musical was every bit melodramatic, over the top, and farfetched. I have to hand it to the writers though because I loved it!
Marvel characters stormed the stage during the Marvel Panel at D23 to reprise the performance of “Save the City” from the fictional ‘Rogers: The Musical.’
It comes as no surprise that this fictional musical became a cult sensation over night.
Check out the full performance below! And who knows, maybe a full version of ‘Rogers: The Musical’ will happen some day!
