New Disney Designer Collection Dolls are a Regal Addition to Epcot!
Prepare to be dazzled and delighted, as two simply stunning new Disney Princess dolls have just arrived at Epcot!
Both of these enchanting dolls are part of the exclusive, limited-edition “Disney Designer Collection,” released in honor of the Ultimate Princess Celebration.
To create this collection, artists all across The Walt Disney Company fashioned bespoke outfits for each princess doll. With only 9800 editions of each princess in circulation, these dolls are intended to be a treasured keepsake, and we’re so taken aback by their beauty!
The first doll we spotted was Rapunzel, who was instantly recognizable for her big eyes, pretty pink dress, and signature golden, flowing hair.
This Rapunzel doll was designed by Tetsunosuke Saiki, a designer in the fashion department at The Walt Disney Company Japan. He said that the movie Tangled, specifically the idea of leaving a tower to explore the world beyond your imagination, resonated with him, hence why he chose this iconic princess when designing the doll.
Each doll in this collection comes packaged in a dazzling keepsake box, with a display stand. A certificate of authenticity is also included, detailing the limited number of pieces released worldwide.
Next to Rapunzel was another iconic Disney Princess – Belle!
This enchanting Belle doll was designed by Heidi Ticehurst, who said she admires the character for her strength, sacrifice, selflessness, and determination.
We couldn’t agree more, and the design of this Belle doll sure is breath-taking!
Like Rapunzel, the Belle doll is also limited to 9800 pieces worldwide, and comes packaged in a beautiful golden display box, with certificate of authenticity.
Our MickeyBlog reporters spotted both these dolls available at the Creations shop in Epcot, where they were kept securely behind the counter. These dolls, along with the other pieces in the Disney Designer Collection, can also be found for purchase online at shopDisney.
