Spooky Character Bronze Statues Installed at Magic Kingdom for Halloween Party
The first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party of 2022 is well underway, and MickeyBloggers are here enjoying the festivities! Let’s BOO this!
As always, we’ll be here to report on all the magic, excitement, thrills, spooks, and more – and we’re so happy to have you reading along with us.
Right now, we have a cool new feature to show you – a fun hidden extra for guests attending the exclusive event. Hidden away on a pathway only ticket holders can access is a fun new row of character statues, all very in-theme for Halloween season. Let’s go check them out!
The first statue we spotted depicts the one-and-only Goofy. For Halloween, he’s dressed up as a court jester, in a bell-trimmed hat and fun costume.
In a very “goofy” way, Jester Goofy is even doing a one-handed handstand atop a creepy pumpkin – an impressive trick indeed!
These Halloween statues remind us a lot of the “Fab 50” character statues that have been installed at each of the four parks. Added as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations at Walt Disney World, those statues are a brilliant, shimmering gold in color, whereas these Halloween ones are more of a stylish bronze.
This could be so guests don’t confuse them, although we’d have loved to see “Jester Goofy” be crowned one of the “Fab 50” characters!
Goofy isn’t the only character who has his statue in this Halloween-y walk, however…
Next up, we have Princess Minnie!
There’s no denying that Minnie Mouse looks flawlessly fabulous in what ever she wears, but her Halloween costume for this statue makes her look especially regal! Dressed as a perfect princess, Minnie is rocking a stunning, floor-length ballgown, with a veiled hat sat atop her head.
Princess Minnie is also clutching a glowing pumpkin, this one carved with a series of Mickey-shaped cut-outs!
The next statue, featuring Musketeer Pluto, is also posing with a pumpkin.
This one has a carving of a giant, glowing bone – probably the main thing on Pluto’s mind at any given moment!
Behind the pumpkin, Pluto is standing tall with his huge musketeer hat atop his head, looking ready for a quest.
Dressed to match Musketeer Pluto is Musketeer Donald, the next statue we came across! In the same, large hat as Pluto, Donald is also holding a Jack-o-Lantern, yet this one with a romantic carving of Daisy’s face etched into the vegetable. How sweet!
So far on our journey around the Magic Kingdom for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, these are the only spooky statues we have found of this kind.
