New Halloween Snacks Arrive at Casey’s Corner in the Magic Kingdom
Happy Halloween from the Magic Kingdom!
MickeyBloggers have been enjoying trying a whole range of snacks, that have arrived at the park for spooky season. With the first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party of 2022 set to take place tonight, we’re sure there’s plenty more tasty treats in store, but for now we’re over at Casey’s Corner, enjoying a seasonal dish that’s bound to terrify your taste buds…
Casey’s Corner is known for their fantastic hot dog creations, as well as their unique snacks and top-notch entertainment. Of course they were going to go big for spooky season, so let’s take a look at the two new items on this years’ Halloween menu!
As we’re at Casey’s, you know we’re going to start with the hot dog!
This here is the interestingly-named Pain and Panic Foot-Long Hot Dog. Are you intrigued? I know I am!
This foot-long, all-beef hot dog is classically Casey’s, and drizzled with a sweet-and-spicy onion relish. Scattered on top are what the menu refers to as “spicy cheese-flavored snacks,” sure to provide some extra, tangy crunch!
Costing $13.99, this dish was named after Hades’ minions in Hercules – Pain and Panic.
We’re sure the Casey’s chefs didn’t choose the name as a reflection of what will happen to you after you eat the hot dog.
Or, at least, we hope not.
Moving on to the drink now, and this here is Winifred’s Elixir of Youth, inspired by Hocus Pocus.
As far as Halloween beverages go, this one sure does look somewhat terrifying, being black and topped with green slime.
Oh well, this is spooky season after all, so let’s take a slurp and see what it’s about!
The drink is a black tea slushy, and the “slime” is actually a kiwi foam. On top of the beverage is a chocolate plaque depicting a graphic of Winifred, and the quote “to be young and beautiful again.”
We’ll keep you posted on whether or not the elixir works in revitalizing our youth!
Will you be ordering either of these snacks on your next visit to the Magic Kingdom? If so, we hope you enjoy them, and they don’t cause “pain” or “panic!”
