Magic Kingdom Cast Members Ready for ‘Boo’-tiful Night
Throughout the week, Magic Kingdom burst with Halloween excitement. From decorations to merchandise, the theme park transformed into a pumpkin-filled celebration of all things fall with one very special deadline in mind: Tonight’s first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party of the season!
To say guests are excited about the return of this seasonal statement would be an understatement. After a two-and-a-half year hiatus, even Cast Members donned their traditional Halloween party costumes hours before the first party’s start time.
MickeyBloggers Greg, Elyssa and Jared arrived at the Magic Kingdom at park opening for a first peek at a plethora of new merchandise that arrived at The Emporium this morning. Later, they headed back to the front of the park though to chat with Cast Members about tonight’s ghoulish festivities.
For many, this is their first time working a Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Though the Magic Kingdom did break out the costumes last year for After Hours Boo Bash, tonight will be the first chance for many new Cast Members to see all of the party’s major highlights, including Mickey’s “Boo to You” Halloween Parade.
The costume plays with traditional fall harvest shades of oranges and yellows as well as more haunted shades featured in lime greens and blues. Flying purple batts accent the purple pin-striped lime green top worn by Cast Members only during party evenings.
The purple bat also features on both a bow tie and a headband worn by Cast Members. Options for pants versus skirt and apron versus vest also add a bit of variety to the costuming.
With party-exclusive merchandise already on the shelves at a very crowded Emporium just minutes ago, tonight is sure to be one to remember. Stay tuned for more as MickeyBlog goes live from tonight’s not-so-scary happenings!
