‘See Ya Real Soon’ Pumpkins Bid Farewell to Magic Kingdom Guests
As the streets of Magic Kingdom prepare for this year’s Halloween festivities, details keep popping up with signs of fall. Today’s visit to Main Street U.S.A. surprised us with the addition of the smiling pumpkins perched above guests as they walk through the archways at the Walt Disney World Railroad.
“See ya real soon!” the pumpkins spell out, showing off a range of shapes, sizes and even colors. We especially love the whimsical yellow and green pumpkins featuring Mickey’s iconic silhoutte that bookend the Main Mouse’s popular saying.
The pumpkins perch high atop the archways of the Walt Disney World Railroad. Guests heading to the monorail, boats and Grand Floridian walkway can see the display both during the day as well as illuminated at night.
Little pumpkins already popped up on the window sills and buildings along Main Street, U.S.A. late last week with banners and other fabric swag appearing over the weekend.
With Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party beginning on Friday, Halloween decorations should continue to go up each night after park closing.
Preparations were made last week for the enormous pumpkin display that sits in the middle of Town Square.
Pumpkins, Treats, and More
Of all of the fall happenings, the return of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party certainly tops the must-do lists of thousands of park-goers visiting Walt Disney World Resort this season.
The special event took a pause in 2020 and 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic with After Hours Boo Bash replacing it last year. This year’s party brings the popular after hours festivities back in all of their glory though.

Complete with the Mickey’s “Boo-to-You” Halloween Parade, the extensive event features unique snacks and desserts as well as a special fireworks show and the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular castle stage show.
