First Look: Disney Wish Inaugural Voyage at Port Canaveral
Today is the day Disney friends! The Disney Wish will be officially welcomed into the Disney Cruise Line fleet with an opening ceremony and sailing at Port Canaveral and MickeyBlog is there!
Our MickeyBloggers Greg and Elyssa checked in early this morning to hop a bus out to Port Canaveral to see this magnificent new ship.
As they inched ever closer to Port Canaveral, we got our first look at the Wish and WOW!
It’s the sight we’ve been waiting for!
There she is…shining, shimmering, splendid!
As previously mentioned Rapunzel has pride-of-place on the front of the ship!
The water is crystal blue for our sailing!
We can’t wait to step inside the ship for the first time!
Greg and Elyssa received a warm welcome at Port Canaveral!
Inaugural banners welcomed guests to the terminal.
There was also a wonderful welcome reception in the main concourse!
A delectable array of eats and treats were available for guests to try!
Ali Manion and Raevon Redding, Walt Disney World’s Ambassadors were also on hand to welcome guests.
They also told Elyssa that they were celebrating their one year anniversary since being appointed as ambassadors!
We received such an incredible welcome from the cast members this morning!
You could feel the excitement and anticipation in the air!
The entire area was decorated with fun Inaugural décor!
Including Captain Mickey!
