This Just In: Adventurers Outpost Also Returning to Animal Kingdom on June 19th
If you’ve been following along with MickeyBlog this morning then you may have seen our exciting news about the fact that Finding Nemo: The Big Blue…and Beyond will be returning to Disney’s Animal Kingdom on June 13, 2022. But that’s not the only Animal Kingdom reopening news we’ve got today!
Reports are now surfacing that “Meet Favorite Disney Pals at Adventurers Outpost” will also be returning six days later on June 19th. Here’s a post from @ScottGustin announcing the news below:

For those unfamiliar, Adventurers Outpost is the spot where traditionally Animal Kingdom visitors have been able to go to visit Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. This location closed with the rest of Animal Kingdom during the COVID-19 pandemic and did not reopen due to social distancing.
Traditional character greetings at Animal Kingdom were replaced by flotilla which took to the waterways of Animal Kingdom. However, over the last few months we’ve seen traditional character experiences starting to make a return.
Adventurers Outpost is a great way to mingle with Mickey and Minnie. They are wearing their adventuring gear and the meet and greet takes place at their exploration headquarters located on Discovery Island.
The look absolutely adorable in their khaki’s and with a PhotoPass photographer on hand, this is a great photo op! With exotic mementos adorning the area from Mickey and Minnie’s trip around you’re sure to get a postcard-perfect picture!
