Disney Confirms the Reopening of the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Disney World and Disneyland
Just moments ago, Disney announced the Harmony Barber Shop would be reopening in the Magic Kingdom on July 31, 2022. With that same announcement, they also confirmed the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique would be reopening at Walt Disney World and Disneyland.

In the official statement, Disney said:
And for inquiring (and eager!) minds, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will also begin reopening its doors for royal transformations later this year at both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort. Stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for all the sparkling details.
While we don’t have an exact reopening date yet for the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, “later this year” gives me much hope! I am hoping it will at least be in time for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween parties as the first one kicks off in early August.

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique locations at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland closed their doors over two years in March 2020 as the COVID-19 pandemic took hold of the United States and world. Since, then we have been patiently waiting for this reopening announcement and now know at least we won’t have to wait until 2023!
The return of the Harmony Barber Shop and the eventual reopening of the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is one of several returning options marking the return to normal of both Walt Disney World and the Disneyland Resort. Another sign of the return to “normalcy” happened earlier today as we spotted for the first time in two years a Minnie Van on the streets around Walt Disney World.

FINALLY …. I was on the Opening Team for Bibbiddi in Cinderella Castle in 2007 … Glad to hear that the Fairy Godmothers in Training (FGITS) will be getting their jobs back!!!
