Disney Reveals Further Details Regarding “Hey Disney!” In Room Assistant
If you’ve been following along with us here at MickeyBlog than you may have heard the exciting details regarding a new In-Room virtual assistant coming to Walt Disney World Resorts. Its called “Hey Disney!”
This new tool will bring Disney characters and stories to life using Alexa technology. Guests will soon be able to enhance your stay with this tool allowing you to ask useful questions, get today’s weather forecast, set alarms and so much more!

Best of all, you’ll be able to get your “Hey Disney!” answers from more than 25 popular characters including Mickey Mouse, Olaf, Rocket, Groot, Princess Tiana and more! Also, when you stay at select Disney Resort hotels, you can also learn helpful information about your vacation, order room amenities and more. Want to know when the next resort bus departs for the theme parks? This is just one of the many ways that “Hey Disney!” can make your getaway more efficient.
So when can Walt Disney World Resort guests expect to see “Hey Disney!” in your resort rooms? Disney will begin to roll out the new feature later this year. Access will be offered as optional and it will also be complimentary.
“Hey Disney!” will also be available to purchase for supported Amazon Echo devices via the Alexa Skills store allowing you to bring the fun and functionality home with you!
We previously revealed that MagicBand+ will usher in a new era of MagicBands starting this summer. Eventually they will work with “Hey Disney!” by pairing with supported Amazon Echo devises to enhance some experiences. Disney is remaining pretty tight-lipped about the details but we’ll keep you posted!
