Adventures by Disney Announces Itineraries to Sicily, the British Isles, and Private Adventures

Adventures by Disney Goes to Sicily
With visits to ancient sites, lots of local charm, and breathtaking natural wonders, Adventures by Disney’s new itinerary to Sicily is what Italian dreams are made of.

This itinerary includes stops at five of the seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites located in Sicily including visits to Palermo, Monreale, Agrigento, Piazza Armerina, Caltagirone, Siracusa, Mount Etna, and Taormina.
This 8-day, 7-night land adventure also offers the following:
- Experience the vibrant culture and history of the 2,000-year-old province of Palermo. This includes a private tour of the 12th-century Monreale Cathederal; behind-the-scenes visit to Teatro Massimo, the largest theater in Italy; and since it’s Italy, you know some mouth-watering food is also included!
- A chance to stroll around and soak up the charm of a small Sicilian village with artisans and a traditional village-style lunch with locals.
- Explore the the Valley of Temples, Villa Romana del Casale, Narpolis Archarological Park and Teatro Greco and learn about ancient Greek and Roman wonders.
- Get hands-on and immerse yourself in a time-honored Sicilian tradition when you paint ceramics in Caltagirone.
- Enjoy the art of puppetry magic when you take in a private show at Teatro dei Pupi. For some added magic, Guests on will also get to go backstage to view master puppeteers at work and an exclusive visit to the workshop to create a puppet of their own.
- Jaws will drop when you lay eyes on Europe’s highest active volcano, Mount Etna, and take in all the terrain in an off-road adventure.

Exploring the British Isles with Adventures by Disney
To come up with the all-new British Isles itinerary, Adventures by Disney took highlights from always-popular itineraries to England, Ireland, and Scotland and added brand-new experiences.

The British Isles Adventures by Disney itinerary for 2023 includes a once-of-a-lifetime tour through Dublin, Belfast, Antrim Coast, Glasglow, Edinburg, and London and is also the first time Adventures by Disney will go to Northern Ireland!
Highlights of this 10-day, 9-night adventure include:
- During a 2-day visit to Dublin, Ireland, you will get to know the real story of the Irish people with visits to an interactive museum and a local whiskey distillery. There’s also a chance to enjoy some traditional Irish food with a visit to one of the oldest family-owned pubs in the city.
- During an excursion to Northern Ireland, you will get the change to make an old Irish favorite, soda bread; enjoy a panoramic tour of Belfast; as well as taking in a scenic drive along the Antrim Coast where you will discover mythical legends, picturesque seaside villages, and the mysterious wonders of the basalt columns at the Giant’s Causeway.
- Once you cross the North Channel by ferry, prepare to be wowed by the iconic heritage of the bagpipes and even try your skill at playing one in Glasgow, Scotland. You’ll also receive a welcome fit for a king and queen when you arrive in Edinburugh and enjoy a private yacht trip aboard the Royal Yacht Britannia. There’s also a change to explore the Royal Mike and to visit the resplendent Edinburugh and Floors Castles.
- Relax as you take a scenic train ride through the beautiful English countryside and arrive in London, England where you will enjoy a traditional afternoon tea. Then, you will take a high-speed boat to see the River Thames. Finally, to wrap up this trip of a lifetime, you will enjoy a private viewing of the Royal Crown Jewels in the Tower of London and a stop at Westminster Abbey.

On these adults-only trips, adults will be treated to a private tour through the underground vaults of Old Town Edinburge for a chance to explore the underground labyrinth filled with goose bump-inducing tales and mysteries!
