‘We Don’t Talk About Bruno’ Projections Coming to Disneyland Along With More Encanto Fun
Fans of Disney’s Encanto hold onto your seats! An Encanto-themed takeover will be happening at Disneyland Resort starting next week and we’ve got all of the magical details!
If you’ve been following along with our Oscar news, you’ll know that Encanto recently won the Academy Award for Best Animated Film! In addition, you can now sing along to your favorite tunes from the film with a new sign-along version of Encanto now available to stream on Disney+. But that’s not all! Disneyland is getting in on the fun with some additional ways to add a dose of the family Madrigal to your getaway.
‘We Don’t Talk About Bruno” Takes Over “it’s a small world” Starting on April 11th
Experience the song that has taken the world by storm in a new and exciting way! For a limited time beginning on April 11, the iconic façade of “it’s a small world” at Disneyland Park becomes enchanted several times each evening with a brief “visual montage” that pays tribute to the movie’s hit song “We Don’t Talk About Bruno.”
The song will come to life through special projection and lighting effects and celebratory chorus. The experience ends with a nod to Bruno’s prophecy about Mirabel!
Meet Mirabel
Speaking of Mirabel, visitors to Disneyland during the day can pop over to Zocalo Park in Frontierland where Mirabel will be meeting with guests. Have your cameras at the ready for this colorful photo spot that pays homage to the Madrigal family and their Colombian roots.
Encanto Joins the Main Street Electrical Parade
The Main Street Electrical Parade is returning to Disneyland Park starting on April 22nd and is celebrating 50 years of dazzling Disney crowds. Best of all, the Electrical Parade will now include a grand finale float that brings together scenes from more than a dozen Disney and Pixar stories including Encanto.
Dazzling lights will depict the Casita. There will also be magical butterflies and the Miracle Candle from the film. Mirabel and her cousin Antonio will also be there as animated dolls atop their section of the float!
These experiences are limited time only so start planning your Encanto-themed Disneyland getaway today! Readers are also encouraged to keep following along with MickeyBlog for further Walt Disney World news and updates.
