Big Changes Coming to Disney Village in Disneyland Paris Including NEW Brasserie
Here’s some exciting news for our Disney friends from across the pond, Disneyland Paris just announced another way that they are celebrating their 30th Anniversary. In addition to the Walt Disney Studios expansion and Disneyland Hotel makeover, Disney Village will also be the recipient of an exciting transformation!
This will include new dining options as well as “refreshed” shopping and entertainment offerings and we’ve got your first look!
A Multi-Year Transformation for Disney Village
For those unfamiliar, Disney Village is the retail, dining and entertainment complex located between the theme parks and Disney hotels. The district is celebrating its 30th Anniversary this year. Over the last three decades it has nearly doubled in size with more new options on the horizon. By the end of this year, visits can expect a brand new visual identity for Disney Village.
The aesthetic will be one that conveys a timeless, family-friendly environment but one that is uniquely Disney. During the day stylish boutiques and innovative eateries will draw in guests. After sunset, thousands of lights will transform the Village into a bustling wonderland! Additions to Disney Village will include a relaxing lakeside park and boardwalk, enhanced pedestrian walkways, new facades, relaxing terraces and patios and lush landscaping.
“Our plan to transform Disney Village is yet another example of how we continue to reimagine Disneyland Paris at the resort level, notably with our major expansion plan in progress at Walt Disney Studios Park,” said Natacha Rafalski, Présidente of Disneyland Paris. “We’re very excited to bring new iconic and timeless concepts to the district that will appeal to a new generation of guests, whether they visit from our nearby resort hotels or from the local area. We can’t wait for our guests to be surprised and delighted by what we have in store.”
New Lakeside Brasserie, Rosalie, To Open in 2023
One of the highlights of the Disney Village transformation will be the addition of contemporary French brasserie. This is going into the location of the Café Mickey Restaurant.
The two floor restaurant will feature 500 seats and a contemporary interior. Inspired by the brasseries found in Paris, the eatery will celebrate French “Art de Vivre” and classic cuisine in a modern yet elegant setting. Guests will be able to relax on the expanded terraces looking over Lake Disney. The location will offer table service dining as well as a French bakery with delectable treats like viennoiseries, pastries, sandwiches and salads.
