BREAKING: Disneyland Hotel DVC Tower Detailed
During this weekend’s Destination D23 Live!, Josh D’Amaro, Chairperson, Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, welcomed Imagineer Bhavna Mistry to share more details about the new tower coming to Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, California in years to come.
The tower began construciton earlier this year and will be the second Disney Vacation Club at Disneyland Resort. The first DVC property opened in 2009 at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa.
The new pool area at the tower will include a variety of new immersive features for both adults and children with a color palette that runs throughout the resort inspired by Walt Disney Animation.

In today’s presentation, Mistry unveiled concept design for the new resort rooms, which take inspiration from the “sketching style of Walt Disney himeslf,” according to Mistry’s presentation.
There will be a newly-designed pool and recreation area, along with a variety of room types and the ability to explore the magic steps away at the Disneyland Resort. #DestinationD23

The guest rooms take inspiration from a variety of classic Disney animated films. Today’s preesentation debuted a room with artwork inspired by the original renderings from Disney’s “Sleeping Beauty.”
Mistry hopes to “inspires guests and children to find their own creative spark because, in the end, that makes magic,” she said during her presentation.
The new tower at the Disneyland Hotel will include 350 guests rooms. An opening date has yet to be announced but should come sometime in 2023.
