BREAKING: Amazing Details for Disneyland Paris 30th Anniversary Celebration Revealed
This April 12th will mark thirty years since Disneyland Paris first opened its gates to guests, and boy oh boy is this exciting anniversary scheduled to be a spectacle!
A whole schedule of exciting new experiences and offerings has just been announced for this amazing celebration, which is set to commence on March 6th with a whole new era of Disneyland Pairs.

Dream… and Shine Brighter! Show
One of the first exciting new experiences guests will be able to enjoy at the resort is the brand-new stage show, entitled “Dream… and Shine Brighter!”.

Set to perform in front of the iconic (and newly-refurbished) Sleeping Beauty Castle several times per day, this new show is promised to be a dazzling and beautiful tribute to the power of laughter, passion, and dreams.
Disney D-Light
Another fantastic new offering set outside the Sleeping Beauty Castle will take place at nightfall.
Each night, the stunning castle will be lit up in a brand-new spectacle entitled Disney D-Light.
This new show will combine video projections, illuminated waters jets, lighting, mist, Disney music and – most impressively of all – drone choreography, to dazzle guests with magic, prior to the beloved fireworks performance of Disney Illuminations.

A whole 200 drones will be included in this one-of-a-kind show, which was designed in partnership with Dronisos. We don’t want to spoil any surprises, but these drones will work together in synchronisation to form a sparkling icon in the sky! We absolutely can’t wait to see this amazing new form of magic in action!
New 30th Anniversary Song
Also debuting for the anniversary is a brand-new theme song, entitled Un monde qui s’illumine. Recorded at the iconic Abbey Road Studios in London, this song is certain to move and inspire guests like never before.
Gardens of Wonder at the Disneyland Park
Next up on the exciting agenda is a brand-new instalment in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle in the Disneyland Park.
Entitled “Gardens of Wonder,” there will be ten differently-themed gardens featuring thirty all-new art pieces, including kinetic Disney and Pixar sculptures which will “come to life” to amaze guests.

The goal of these gardens is to celebrate nature and the diversity of our favorite Disney and Pixar characters. The project has been created using the expertise of the Disneyland Paris Landscaping and Entertainment teams, as well as that of local craftsmen and specialists.
An Iridescent Makeover
To celebrate this amazing anniversary, the Disneyland Park will receive a fresh pixie-dusting of decoration. The park will be transformed with a brand-new iridescent theme, made up of gorgeous, sparkling hues of blue and purple.

The park’s iconic spots, such as the Gazebo and Main Street Station will use lighting effects and kinetic mobiles to add some extra sparkle, and this magical design will spread out across Disney Village too.

In preparation for the 30th Anniversary, the Disneyland Paris teams have designed more than 350 new and exclusive merchandise items for guests to enjoy. That’s so much new merchandise, and the most significant product development program ever conducted at the resort!

As always, guests can expect dazzling ear headbands, collectibles, plushes, Spirit Jerseys and more, and we can’t wait to see more sneak peeks of the new lines as they are revealed.

Minnie’s Ultra-Chic New Wardrobe
Someone especially excited for the 30th Anniversary celebrations to commence is Minnie Mouse herself, who has received a brand-new styling from the legendary British designer Stella McCartney herself!

For the celebration, the ever-stylish Minnie will be sporting her first ever pantsuit, and you must agree that she looks absolutely fabulous!
Stella McCartney said about styling Minnie:
“I am delighted to be working with the one, the only, the iconic Minnie Mouse. I have designed a custom outfit for her in celebration of the 30th Anniversary of Disneyland Paris. Minnie has always had a special place in my heart. We share the same values. What I love about Minnie is the fact that she embodies happiness, self-expression, authenticity and that she inspires people of all ages around the world. Plus, she has such great style! I wanted Minnie to wear her very first pantsuit at Disneyland Paris, so I have designed one of my iconic costumes – a blue tuxedo – using responsibly sourced fabrics. This new take on her signature polka dots makes Minnie Mouse a symbol of progress for a new generation. She will wear it in honor of Women’s History Month, in March 2022. As well as Minnie’s new ‘fit, Stella McCartney has also designed a unique Minnie Mouse t-shirt as part of the International Women’s Rights Day. The top will be available on March 8th online and in Stella stores, so watch out for that!
Avengers Campus: Opening Summer 2022!
Last, but certainly not least, is the announcement we have all be waiting for. Avengers Campus, an all-new area based on Super Heroes from the MARVEL universe, will be opening in the Walt Disney Studios Park this summer!

Although a specific date is yet to be announced, the official opening of the area is scheduled for this summer. We absolutely can’t wait to find out more about this highly-anticipated new development, and exploring it all this summer!
