Make-A-Wish at Disney Parks
Both Disneyland and Disney World rolled out special surprises in honor of Make-A-Wish. It began with a beautiful dedication ceremony at Disneyland, where 3 windows were installed in honor of the foundation.
Disney even gave us a behind-the-scenes look at how the windows were created, which fans thoroughly enjoyed! Over on the East Coast, Disney World had a magical surprise in store for one special Wish kid, culminating in an overnight stay in the Cinderella Castle Suite!

Now, Disney Parks Blog is sharing some of the festivities from Disneyland Paris. The Park invited over 80 Make-A-Wish kids and their families to enjoy the celebratory weekend!
Events included a special pre-parade with Sleeping Beauty’s fairies and other iconic Disney characters! Audrey is mom to Chloé, a Wish kid from France.
She shares, “Being here this weekend felt like we were living in a magical moment, it was good for the whole family to dream.” President of Disneyland Paris, Natacha Rafalski says, “I am grateful to our cast members, partners, and Disney VoluntEARS who made this year’s World Wish Day at Disneyland Paris a tremendous success.”
She adds, “Together, we can make a positive impact on the lives of children and families in need, and we remain committed to doing so in the future.” A week prior, 3 Wish kids and their families were invited to the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3” European Gala.
Little did they know they’d be meeting Star-Lord and Gamora themselves, Chris Pratt and Zoe Saldaña! Wish kid Ollie shares, “I couldn’t believe it when I got to meet Star-Lord! It’s been the most amazing weekend I could have ever wished for.”
The kids and their families were also treated to a stay at Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel! Disneyland Paris has granted over 20,000 wishes for children with critical illnesses since it opened in 1992.
I don’t know about you, but these Disney Make-A-Wish stories have really touched my heart. We’re so happy to see the amazing work Disney continues to do in partnership with Make-A-Wish.
