First Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Poster Shares More Exciting Details of the New Resort
Disney has just shared the first poster for the much-anticipated Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Resort coming to Walt Disney World in 2022. And, other than being a work of art, the poster gives us a preview at many of the exciting experiences Guests will discover when they embark on their two-night journey at the Resort.

With that being said, let’s take a closer look at the Star Wars: Starcruiser poster:
- When you look towards the upper right corner of the poster, you will see the Halycon starcruiser, your home during you two-night stay. Guests staying on this starcruiser will be treated to the best service, amazing entertainment, delicious dining, and more!
- Looking at the center of the poster, you will see four people of interest – a youngling wearing Jedi robes and holding a lightsaber, an adult dressed in the uniform of the First Order officer, a Twi’lek adul, and another young person holding what looks like to be a new piece of technology. These four people reflect the Guests that will board the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser and how you will live out your personal Star Wars story. So what will it be? Will you be representing the First Order? Live your visit like a Jedi in training? What about becoming a member of the high galactic society? That’ your decision to be made!
- In front of these four people, you will see a R-series astromech droid. But, that just’ not any droid. This one appears to have more bells and whistles. Hmmmm…. We are going to have to wait and find out what that means at a later time.
- Let’s get back to one of my favorite things of any vacation – the food! When we look at the lower left hand corner of the poster, you will see Guests of the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser enjoying some of out this world food only offered in the Crown of Corellia Dining Room. I know I am excited for more information on this !
- Lightsaber training! When we look at the lower right corner of the poster, you will see a preview of one of the most exciting experiences coming to the Galactic Starcruiser – lightsaber training! Disney has confirmed that Guests will train in a similar fashion to how Luke Skywalker himself once did!
- You can’t look at this poster without noticing the intimadinting Kylo Ren and those First Order Stormtroopers coming into the scene on the left side. And, with the Halycon starcruiser’s storied past, things might get a little hairy. Speaking of hair though, Chewbacca and his bowcaster are in the upper-right hand corner of the poster – so things shouldn’t get too out of hand!
- For anyone that has visited Batuu in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you will notice that familiar spires. Rumor has it, the Halycon will be making a stop at that planet next year as well.
