More exciting casting announcements coming your way! Fans are eagerly awaiting news of the new live-action Snow White.
Today, the Hollywood Reporter reports that Andrew Burnap Joins Live-Action Snow White!
Andrew Burnap
Burnap is a Tony award winning actor joining the film as the male lead. However, he will not be portraying the role of the Huntsman or the prince.
He will be portraying a new singing role created specifically for the film.
Burnap is a talented and popular actor who won the Tony award last year for his role in “The Inheritance.” He has an established stage career working in productions such as “Troilus and Cressida” and “This Day Forward.”
He has portrayed roles in LA, New York, and the West End. He has also appeared in numerous movies including “Spare Room” and “The Chaperone” and “Under the Banner of Heaven.”
Stellar Cast
The highly anticipated production has already cast Rachel Ziegler as Snow White and Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen.
This fairytale retelling is being directed by Mark Webb and reduced by Oscar-nominated producer Marc Platt.
New Live-Action Musical
The new live action musical is an updated take on the 1938 animated Disney classic Snow White and the seven dwarves. The new film is a musical including your classic Disney faves and several new songs written by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. Production begins this spring in the U.K.
