Mears Connect Airport Shuttle Service Kicks Off Today
Starting today, January 1st, Mears Connect will take over for Magical Express and will transport guests to and from the Walt Disney World Resort hotels. It is important to note that Magical Express will still pick up guests from their Disney resort and transport them back to the airport through January 10th.
Mears Connect is the new paid airport shuttle that guests can now take advantage of. The Standard Service offers shared transportation in a bus, van, or small vehicle that will make a limited number of stops. The Express Service is direct service to your resort and back to the airport (guaranteed first stop), with limited to no wait time. The Express service may be provided in a bus, van, or a small vehicle as well. Express service is not considered a private service, it may be a shared service.
Take a look at their pricing:
The Standard Service is $16.00 per adult and $13.50 per child for a one-way trip. Standard roundtrip service is $32.00 per adult and $27.00 per child. The Express Service is a bit pricier, coming in at $200.00 roundtrip for four passengers with an extra $55.00 per additional passenger.
Mears Connect will be located in the same area as Magical Express previously was. You will board Mears Connect on level 1, ground transportation level, in terminal B, at Orlando International Airport. Look for the Mears Connect reception area.

They need to think about adding a service to pick up luggage and deliver to resort. I would pay extra for that.
Hi Norma, that would be a great idea and I’m sure it would be a popular service. Hopefully it is something Mears consider in the near future.
