Disney Theme Parks Go Blue To Celebrate Disney+ Day
We hope that you’ve been enjoying our inaugural Disney+ Day coverage here at MickeyBlog. We can safety say that Disney celebrated in grand style. Beginning early this morning Disney World Theme Parks lit up their popular landmarks and castles in bright blue hues to mark the celebration.
Locations that were illuminated for Disney+ Day include Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World.
You can also see a blue Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Resort. Cinderella Castle at Tokyo Disney also got in on the fun.
Other iconic Disney theme park landmarks went blue including Spaceship Earth.
The infamous Hollywood Tower Hotel at Disneyland Paris also took part in the Disney+ celebration.
Back at Disney’s Hollywood Studios where your MickeyBloggers spent most of the day, as well as at Disneyland Park, visitors were given the blue carpet treatment.
Throughout the day guests enjoyed photo opportunities, character encounters and even received complimentary Disney PhotoPass download as part of this day long celebration.
Guests today saw signs of the Disney+ celebration before they even entered the parks. Park entry touchpoints had blue lighting for the special day.

As part of the celebration a whole host of Disney+ characters were also at the parks. We had a chance to see characters like Moana, Dug, Tiana, Russell and even SANTA!
Across the pond at Disneyland Paris they also rolled out the red carpet with special character appearances and photo opportunities.
Weren’t able to get to the theme parks for this year’s celebration!? You can bring the parks to you via the My Disney Experience app. Here you’ll find a new AR feature where you can check out the one and only Grogu.
