Disneyland Reveals Abundance of Holiday Splendor
With the Christmas Tree lit on Main Street U.S.A. at Disneyland Resort, cast members placed the final touches on their enormous holiday transformation this week. Despite much of the decor debuting earlier this week, tomorrow marks the first official day of the holiday season at the Anaheim-based resort.
“We are excited and honored to ring in the holidays and a diverse season of celebrations at the Disneyland Resort this Friday, including Christmas/Navidad, Diwali, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and Three Kings Day. Thank you to the amazing talents and efforts of our Cast behind the merry and magical transformation of our Resort. Happy Holidays!” Disneyland Ken Potrock said in an Instagram post.
Disneyland Resort cast members went to extra lengths this year in their choices of decorations to celebrate a range of multicultural November and December holidays.
Of course, the team also needed to make sure that Disneyland itself was ready for tonight’s first Disney Merriest Nites event. The sold-out after-hours festivities boast not one but six different themed holiday parties in one holiday-decked spetacle.
“This week cast members were busy at work, preparing the Disneyland Resort for the holidays. It was a true pleasure to be out there with so many talented and dedicated cast members. A huge thank you to all who help bring this festive season to life!” Disneyland ambassadors posted earlier this week.

Tomorrow also marks the official start to the holidays at the Walt Disney World Resort with final touches placed over the last couple of days at EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. At all of the theme parks and resorts, Disney certainly proves that there is no place like Disney at the holidays.
