Where to Celebrate Dia de los Muertos at WDW Today!
Today, The Day of the Dead will be celebrated worldwide. If you’re lucky enough to be at Walt Disney World Resort during the global festivities, we’ve got the perfect guide to celebrating Dia de los Muertos today!
EPCOT
Of course, the center of the Dia de los Muertos festivities will take place in the Mexico Pavilion at Epcot. Just inside the pyramid, you’ll find an entire art exhibit dedicated to the Day of the Dead…featuring the characters from Coco! Be sure to read all about the holiday’s origins and how you can celebrate at home as you pass through the exhibit.
Next, head further into the pyramid for a ride on The Three Caballeros. In the fiesta scene, keep your eyes peeled! Special animatronics are wearing traditional Mexican masks and skeleton costumes that are synonymous with Dia de los Muertos in Mexico.
If you’re looking for a Mexican-inspired sweet treat or drink to celebrate the occasion, head outside and hop in line at Choza de Margarita for some of the most festive frozen drinks on Property. If your sweet tooth is calling, La Cantina de San Angel serves up some pretty fantastic warm churro bites all day and night long!
Coronado Springs
Mexican-inspired architecture- including life-sized pyramid pool- make Coronado Springs a great place to celebrate Dia de los Muertos! After you take a dip in the pyramid pool, head to Panchitos Gifts and Sundries. Here, you’ll find Mexican-inspired souvenirs and apparel.

Maya Grill shrimp tacos
When you’ve finished exploring, you’re going to be hungry! Maya Grill is one of Coronado Springs’ table service restaurants- and it is by far the most authentic when it comes to Mexican-inspired cuisine at this Resort!
Disney Springs
Disney Springs is the perfect spot to celebrate Dia de los Muertos if you’re taking a break from the Parks. Frontera Cocina is known for its south-of-the-border cuisines. Served in a modern, open space, Frontera is the perfect combination of new and traditional.

Bahama Mamma at Paradiso 37
Paradiso 37 is another great option for the holiday. More American/Mexican fusion than pure Mexican, Paradiso is the perfect spot for groups with varied dining preferences. You can find anything from traditional tacos to a classic burger on this giant menu.
However you choose to celebrate, don’t forget to set up your ofrenda and remember the loved ones crossing the spiritual bridge to celebrate with those of us still on earth today, on Dia de los Muertos!
