BREAKING NEWS: The Holidays Have Arrived at Magic Kingdom
It’s November 1st and you know what that means! Overnight Disney’s team of Christmas elves have been busy decorating the theme parks for the Winter Season. In under 24 hours we’ve gone from Halloween to Christmas and it is a sight to behold.
Evidence of the changes can be seen the moment you walk up to the entrance.
Garlands of Christmas greenery now decorate the lines to get in!
As we prepare to walk under Main Street Station wreaths adorn the lampposts. We love that these have pineapples at their center.
Here’s a few more images of the greenery with a tropical twist!
There she is! This is our first glimpse (below) of the Magic Kingdom Christmas tree that has pride of place in Town Square.
Even the popcorn kiosks are getting a wintry makeover!
The upper levels of the Main Street Railway Station are looking ready for the Yuletide season.
We love the big sweeping holiday garlands draped across the rooftops.
Golden baubles add a lovely touch and really make the decorations shimmer in the sunlight!
Garlands and holiday wreaths with bright red bows also cover the underpasses as you enter the park.
Disney PhotoPass is already at work capturing those holiday memories.
Above you can get a look at the traditional Christmas ornaments on the main tree.
At the base of the tree sits much sought after gifts from days gone by including Raggedy Ann and Andy as well as a toy train!
Panning out we also see jacks, a porcelain dolls and more! You can also see one of my favorite details of the tree- the giant popcorn garlands!
The display also features wooden soldiers similar to the ones you’ll find during Disney World’s Christmas parades.
As we look toward Main Street U.S.A, the Emporium is looking positively stunning!
Just look at all of that beautiful greenery winding its ways down the beams in the front of the shop!
Here’s a few more photos of the tree at a distance.
This will become a fixture in a lot of our holiday photos going forward.
Though it looks impressive on film, there’s nothing quite like seeing it in person with Cinderella Castle as a backdrop!
Above you can see guests taking in all of the changes to Main Street!
Some of the lampposts are decorated with greenery like the one below.
Shops like the Emporium have already transitioned their window displays to Christmas.
There are trees in the windows, some merchandise perfect for Christmas along with some signs featuring our favorite Disney friends.
Below you can see Donald chillin for the holidays!
Just outside of Main Street Cinema, this beautiful candle wreath hangs overhead!
