Celebrate World Pasta Day at Disney World!
Carb and sauce lovers rejoice! October 17th is World Pasta day! And I cannot wait to celebrate. I love eating on Disney property and pasta is one of my favorite dishes!
And Walt Disney World offers an excellent selection of yummy treats and plenty of tasty options. Whether you love rigatoni, spaghetti, or angel hair, let’s celebrate! Read on for some excellent places to celebrate World Pasta Day!
What is World Pasta Day?
A day to celebrate all things pasta! According to Nationaltoday.com, pasta has been consumed for hundreds of years but the official holiday started in 1995 at the first World Pasta Congress.
And ever since, excited diners gather every October to enjoy this tasty cuisine. Let’s check out some of the great Disney dining options!
Trattoria al Forno
Saver old world favorites and rustic charm in this casual dining location. Nestled in Disney’s Boardwalk, the extensive menu offers a delicious assortment of appetizers, pizzas, and entrees!
The Shrimp Papardelle and Plant-based Rigatoni Bolognese are both tasty options! And I highly recommend a creamy, house-made gelato for dessert! Because can you really eat pasta without dessert?
Maria and Enzo’s Ristorante
Traditional Sicilian dishes in an immersive and themed restaurant! Perfect! Maria and Enzo’s is a 1930s airline terminal turned tasty eatery! Featuring 50-foot high ceilings, a grand staircase and floor-to-ceiling waterfront views, this Italian hot spot is charming and cozy!
Try the Torchio Alla Vedure and immerse your tastebuds in Twisted Bell-shaped Pasta, Asparagus, Cipollini Onion, Cherry Tomato, Parmigiano, Basil, Calabrian Chili, and Toasted Bread Crumbs. Or the Spaghetti alla Chitarra for a classic pasta dish with a kick!
Tutto Italia Ristorante
Head over to the Italy Pavilion in Epcot for a cozy and romantic Italian dinner! This has always been one of my favorite locations. The service is impeccable, the decor is Divine, and I love the tasty eats.
The restaurant serves an excellent selection of classic Italian dishes, but to celebrate World Pasta Day, I recommend the Penne alla Vodka!
I like to add shrimp with mine but chicken and meatballs are also great options!
Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant
I bet this was not your first thought when it came to eating pasta! However, the themed, vibrant restaurant located at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is also home to a delicious pasta dish.
The Pan-Seared Salmon Pasta is a pleasant surprise with its creamy Lemon Butter Sauce topped with colorful Tomatoes, Onions, and Spinach! Don’t like salmon? No problem! There is also a Pan-Seared Chicken Pasta that is equally good!
Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano
Colorful, vibrant, and perfect for World Pasta Day! This Italian eatery is tucked away in the backlot of Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
I tend to go classic pasta at this location and enjoy the Spaghetti and Meatballs. Yummy spaghetti topped with House-made Marinara and garnished with Pecorino Romano Cheese and Parsley is perfect!
