“Eternals Assemble,'” Marvel Releases Brand New ‘Eternals’ Trailer
With the brand new MCU adventure only a month away, Marvel releases a brand new Eternals trailer; giving fans a better look at the power of these immortal beings, and some more detailed looks at scenes we’ve already seen. Watch the trailer below!
“Eternals Assemble.” Words uttered by the Eternals’ Ikaris in this new trailer- titled by Marvel as Change- as a nod to the famed words spoken by Captain America in Avengers: Endgame, should give fans a better idea of the journey that awaits audiences this November 5th.
We already know that the film will be separated into two, interconnected, storylines; featuring the Eternals centuries ago, fighting the prevalent deviant threat, before returning to modern-day as the team reunites to combat the return of that threat.
Marvel releases a brand new Eternals trailer that shows some noteworthy moments and includes a better look at Phastos powers. Confirmed as the MCU’s first LGBTQ+ character, Phastos is shown throwing some sort of projectiles at an unknown enemy.
Along with Phastos premiering the first look at his powers, we also get a better look at the strength and fighting prowess of Angelina Jolie’s warrior Goddess Thena.
The film features some additional scenes from moments in the film we have already seen in previous trailers; with a better look at the apocalyptic Emergence threatening humanity, more dialogue from Salma Hayeks Ajak, and a better look at the most mysterious Eternal, Druig.
We know that the film will display the Eternals as they arrive on earth, during their crusade against the Deviants, and as they are forced to come together once again; the question is, how great is this emerging threat for the Eternals to once again involve themselves?
The immortal, superpowered beings refused to get involved with helping the Avengers fight off Thanos and his genocidal conquest- interesting considering the Deviant gene present within Thanos himself.
The film will likely go in-depth as to how this inability to bring aid affected the group; with the trailer continually noting their adoration and love of the race in which they had protected for centuries.
Will the Eternals fight back against the Celestial requirement that they refrain from being involved? The answer will certainly come November 5th, when the film hits theaters!
