The Enchanted Rose is Simply Magical!
It is with “deepest pride and greatest pleasure” that I share my wonderful experience visiting the Enchanted Rose lounge. Fans of Beauty and the Beast will love this beautiful location nestled on the second floor of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.
It features elegant nods to the Disney classic, sophisticated decor, and a charming ambience. What could be better? This is truly one of my favorite lounges at Disney! And I loved it. The Enchanted Rose is simply magical!
The Theming!
I love immersive experiences and the Enchanted Rose definitely delivers!
Feel like you stepped into your favorite fairytale and be transported the second you step into this beautiful lounge. It is subtle without being smothering and luxurious without feeling stuffy.
From the subtle color of the detailed decor, to the beautiful artwork displayed, and the charming touches from the movie – everything about this lounge evokes beauty and magic!
Relax with a drink, converse with friends, or explore three-themed rooms (and one outdoor terrace) inspired by Belle and indulge in a menu of refined bar classics.
The seating areas are comfortable and intimate and the service is friendly and attentive.
The Drinks!
This was the main reason I wanted to check out this themed lounge. The Enchanted Rose features an excellent selection of beer, wine, martinis, cocktails, and specialty drinks.
The London Fog was first up and an unexpected surprise! Featuring Nolet’s Silver Dry Gin, Rothman Crème de Violette, and English Breakfast Tea, the sweet drink was creamy and unique with its blend of Vanilla and light Cream flavors.
And for whiskey fans, I recommend trying the Rye Not? Featuring Whistle Pig 10yr Rye Whiskey, Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge, Cinnamon, Pineapple, and Lemon, this drink was perfect for a Fall evening.
Are you a fan of Elderflower? If you like the lightly floral flavor of elderflower combined with sparkling citrus, check out the Floral Bitter Beauty.
Sip on Hendrick’s Gin, St~Germain Elderflower Liqueur, Campari, Aperol, Lemon, and Soda while relaxing amongst candelabra and comfy decor. Perfect!
The Eats!
Check out the above menu. Served between 5pm-10pm, the lounge features a small selection of shareable bites and refined lounge plates.
Crab Macaroni and Cheese and Truffle Fries are just a few of the yummy bites!
The Truffle Fries were perfect and I am still craving them. Delightfully crispy and full of flavor! Shaved Black Truffles and 18-Month Aged Parmesan served with a side of chilled and creamy aioli. It was delicious.
The Rose Element!
I would recommend after your experience in the Enchanted Rose that you explore the other various themed rooms.
One consistent element is the use of the iconic rose. It is seen on the small details of the mirrors and even on the wood paneling. The rose is featured at the entrance as well as throughout.
Small details like these coasters add to the charm and magic of the experience.
The Details!
The Enchanted Rose is located in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. It is located on the second floor and easily accessible from the elevators or taking the grand staircase. Open seven nights a week from 3:30 PM to 11 PM, I highly recommend experiencing this lounge first hand.
