Halloween Fun at Disneyland Resort
Visiting Disneyland Resort is fun any time of year but it really comes alive during the Halloween season! Disney pulls out all the stops with top-notch decorations, new extravagant food, and ride overlays. Oogie Boogie Bash ends a day of festivities with a visit from your favorite and marvelous Disney villians.
Decorations abound down the streets of both parks. Imagineers carefully plan and place beautiful Halloween displays throughout each land giving them their own unique celebration of the Halloween season.
Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, and Donald pumpkin heads greet visitors when they enter Disneyland Park. Visitors create spooky faces in front of the giant Mickey pumpkin on Main Street. And Jack Skellington’s love of Christmas has taken over the Haunted Mansion!
At California Adventure, Oogie Boogie’s deceptive smile greets visitors walking through the turnstiles. Further down Carthay Circle, bats fly into the night sky underneath a purplish haze. While on the streets, the Headless Horseman makes an appearance on his ominous and dark horse.
Cars Land vrooms into the Halloween season with Pumpkin orange cones, Vampire Mater, Mater’s Graveyard Jamboree, spiders, and festive lights. Near Pixar Pier you can find a Coco Themed area telling the story of Día de Los Muertos.
Disneyland and California Adventure offer unique snacks and drinks for the Halloween season. In California Adventure, visitors can take a sip of a Minnie Witch Shake, enjoy a flaming hot mac and cheese cone, and a indulge themselves in a Coco Jarrito.
Disneyland offers Mickey-Face bat cookies, a supernova special pizza, a blood orange slush, and a lobster roll.
Halloween Screams is the night-time spectacular at Disneyland Park. Jack Skellington and Zero host the show along with several Disney villains. Projections and fireworks are used during the show to entertain guests.
