With the arrival on the new Annual Pass products at the Walt Disney World Resort on Wednesday, guests noticed changes to the majority of signage throughout the parks to mark the occasion. Today, MickeyBloggers spotted one of the last signs to switch from the former pass systems orange theming to the new Mickey yellow shade.
While visiting Magic Kingdom this morning, our eagle-eyed parkgoer noticed that the signs above the area to the ticket scanning locations at the front of the park now featured the bright shade as well as the new smiling Mickey logo.
The bulk of the larger signs that greet guests also feature Mickey’s optimistic grin with the white, retro D in the background.
Loyal Disney fans rushed to purchase one of the four tiers of annual passes released Wednesday at 6 a.m. For the 14 months prior, Disney paused the selling of annual passes to help control crowds during pandemic-related capcity restrictions.
The new signage makes it easy to navigate which scan points are exclusive to passholders, as the bold black font pops against the classic, golden shade.
Advertisements for the annual passes
sometimes display Mickey standing up in his usually welcoming pose on their signage.
The new annual passholder program offers a variety of options, especially for Florida Residents. The Disney Incredi-Pass, the top tier option, allows guests to visit Disney World any day of the year with park-hopping privilleges and no blackout dates. The three tiers below that pass are available only to Florida residents, including the Pixie and Pirate passes. The Disney Sorcerer Pass is available to both Florida residents and Disney Vacation Club members.
