Attention New England! Hocus Pocus 2 Is Now Casting Extras
Calling all fellow New Englanders! Hocus Pocus 2 is filming in Rhode Island and they’re on the hunt for extras. I have all the details for you, including where production is currently taking place and how you can apply to be an extra in the film.

The long-awaited Sanderson Sisters sequel is set to begin filming in October. The filming will reportedly take place throughout Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Los Angeles. Just the other day, set construction began at the iconic Chase Farm in Lincoln, RI, as pictured below.

Now, Providence locals are being asked to submit their application to appear in the film. A posting on Kendall Cooper Casting’s website stated that they are “now accepting submissions for extras to work on the upcoming feature-length motion picture project “Hocus Pocus 2”. Filming will be in Providence, RI and surrounding areas October through December 2021. Production is seeking people local to the Providence, RI area to play various extra roles in the film; children and adults of ALL ethnicities, ages, genders, and sizes are encouraged to apply. Specifically seeking people with dance experience, men with shoulder length hair or longer, and young adults ages 18-22 years old.”

Applicants must be fully vaccinated and have proof of vaccination. They will be subject to COVID testing at the cost of the production company and must wear a mask at all times except when on camera. Other important information applicants should know include: “all extra work, testing and fittings are paid. Local hire only, no travel or housing provided. Filming will generally take place Monday through Friday and is often a 12+ hour commitment for each day of work.
