You’ll Head to the Alps on the All-New AquaMouse Water Coaster Coming to the Disney Wish!
There are several features coming to the Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Disney Wish, that I am excited about! One of them is the first Disney attraction at sea, the AquaMouse. But, Disney has just released even more details on this attraction and now I’m more excited than ever to get on this ship when it sets sail next June!
When the AquaMouse was first introduced earlier this year, Disney revealed that in addition to being the first-ever Disney attraction at sea, it would immerse Guests into “Scuba Scramble” which was inspired by “The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse” animated shorts. The “Scuba Scramble” is billed as “a hilarious underwater adventure with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse through show scenes and special effects.”

But, that’s not all! Today, Disney Cruise Line has just announced that Disney Wish Guests who ride the AquaMouse will be treated to not one but two original, animated shorts!
The second animated shorts Guests who ride the AquaMouse on the Disney Wish is entitled “Swiss Meltdown!” This show invites Guests on a mountain sledding excursion that was go awry in a hilarious fashion!
“Scuba Scramble” will be the name of the new animated Mickey shorts Guests will be immersed in while they ride the Aqua Mouse
Disney Cruise Line has this to say about the “Swiss Meltdown” animated short coming to the AquaMouse:
When the sun comes out and the snow begins to melt, you’ll be off on a frantic dash to the mountaintop while trying to avoid obstacles like avalanches, leaky rock walls and waterfalls — oh, boy! The story is inspired by one of the Emmy Award-winning “Mickey Mouse” shorts, “Yodelberg,” and composer Christopher Willis adapted his iconic score from the episode for the attraction.
Coined as the first-ever them park-quality attraction at sea, the AquaMouse will make its debut on the Disney Wish

While riding the AquaMouse on the Disney Wish, Guests are going to want to look out for some Disney Easter Eggs! Be prepared to see everything from an appearance by the abominable snowman from the Matterhorn Bobsleds at Disneyland to favorites Chip and Dale in the short and hitchhiking their way to Disney’s Castaway Cay.
I’ll give a warning, though. You might have to ride a few times to catch those Disney Easter Eggs because during your adventure, you will be up against 60-plus water blasters, misters, and pop jets along the way!
