planDisney Pocket Guide to Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
On this installment of the planDisney Pocket Guide series featuring the Disney Resort Collection, Disney is showcasing Caribbean Beach Resort. This resort will transport you to your own piece of the Caribbean Islands, capturing the essence of Barbados, Jamaica, Martinique, Trinidad, and Aruba. And I can’t leave out the pirate-themed rooms! Take a look at some details on what the planDisney Pocket Guides give you.
Since Caribbean Beach Resort is located in the Hollywood Studios resort area, the Disney Skyliner is the perfect and convenient mode of transportation to the park. And of course, bus transportation is also readily available to take you to and from the theme parks, water parks, and Disney Springs.

Remember those pirate-themed rooms I mentioned above? These rooms are perfect for pirates of all ages! The rooms come with 2 double beds with different view options. If you would rather queen or kind beds, then the standard rooms will be more your speed. Room offerings can include 2 queen beds, 2 queen beds and 1 single pull-down bed (more commonly called a fifth sleeper room), or 1 king bed. When booking your stay here, be sure to ask about the preferred rooms which are close in proximity to Fuentes del Morro Pool and Centertown.

The dining at this resort is pretty amazing as well. Sabastian’s Bistro serves up family-style dishes complete with rich Latin and Caribbean flavors sure to satisfy your taste buds. It is located near Fuentes del Morro Pool. The Centertown Market located at Old Port Royale is also a favorite among guests. You will find great selections for breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. The cuisine offered here is American, as well as Latin, and guests may use Mobile Order at this location!

And you can miss out on the themed pool! In my opinion, it is one of the best pools on Disney World property! The colonial Spanish fortress-themed pool includes two waterslides and man-of-war cannons that release a refreshing water spray throughout the day. Little ones will love splashing in the play area that has mini slides, a crow’s nest and a barrel of laughs that will have your little ones cheering for more while enjoying a drenching downpour! Please note that guests must be 48” or under to enjoy the Fuentes del Morro Water Play Area.
