The outside queue area takes inspiration from Les Halles (or “The Halls”), a fresh food market that has history that can be traced back to the eleventh century.
The green iron and glass structure that houses the outside queue takes inspiration from the market in the 1850s, with it’s small decrative and intricate details and arched bays that are seen throughout the design.

these archways have been created to pay homage to Parisian history and to complement the rest of the area, including the exterior of the attraction and the fountain housed outside.
And of course, as an Imagineer, Riddley instills the tiniest details to bring immersion to guests, one of which can be found if we look down to the ground.
