Is Tomorrowland Terrace Closing Starting Tomorrow?
Columbia Harbour House a quick service restaurant in Liberty Square falls into the category of one of those restaurants that stayed closed long-after Walt Disney World re-opened after the COVID closure.
During that time, if you’ll remember, the popular eatery was converted into an indoor queue for Peter Pan’s Flight of all things!
But, in what is undoubtedly good news for Harbour House fans, the restaurant will once again be opening to guests starting TOMORROW!
As you can see from the image above taken from disneyworld.com, the restaurant opens at 11 am tomorrow with hours posted for the rest of the week. The menu remains largely the same so guests will once again be able to queue up for clam chowder, lobster rolls and fried shrimp!
However, this leads to a very important question – What’ Happens to Tomorrowland Terrace!?
As we previoulsy reported here at MickeyBlog, Tomorrowland Terrace has been serving as a makeshift Columbia Harbour House during Columbia’s extended closure.
The eatery is open from 11 am – 4:00 pm daily and serves up Columbia Harbour House’s seafood heavy menu. With the OG opening tomorrow it would only make sense that Tomorrowland closed up shop or came back with an updated menu.
On the one hand, Tomorrowland Terrace tends to be a seasonal eatery. Sometimes it’s open for meals and other times just for the Magic Kingdom fireworks dessert parties.
Since we are in the middle of the busy Summer Season, it would make sense that it would continue to serve as a quick spot for guests in the Main Street/Tomorrowland Area to grab a quick bite.
However, it looks like that might not be the case.
Our MickeyBloggers Greg & Elyssa dropped by Magic Kingdom and Tomorrolwand Terrace is looking pretty desolate at the moment.
This is corroborated by the business hours posted for Tomorrowland Terrace currently on www.disneyworld.com.
As you can see from the hours above, the eatery was supposed to be open until 4pm today.
Starting tomorrow, there are NO hours posted for Tomorrowland Terrace going forward.
It could be that Tomorrowland Terrace closes up shop for good or that Disney World has as of yet un-announced plans for this location in the works. Only time will tell. But in the meantime, guests can enjoy the same menu at the reopened Columbia Harbour House.
