It’s National Hot Dog Day! Here Are Some of the Best Hot Dogs in Disney Right Now
Hot dog, hot dog, hot diggity dog! Today is National Hot Dog Day and what better way to celebrate than counting down some of our favorite hot dogs in Disney World? Disney knows how to step it up a notch when it comes to this all-American classic, so here are some of the best places to get your hot dog fix when visiting the Mouse.
Casey’s Corner
I know, I know. This is the obvious choice. But I mean, Casey’s Corner in Magic Kingdom almost exclusively serves hot dogs! This fan favorite recently reopened after a lengthy closure due to the pandemic, and guests were more than thrilled to see the return of their famous gut-busting hot dogs.
Current menu offerings include an all-beef footlong chili-cheese dog (bring the antacids…), old-fashioned all-beef hot dogs, their famous corn dog nuggets, and a few plant-based options as well.
You can visit Casey’s Corner at the end of Main Street USA in Magic Kingdom. Outdoor seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
B.B. Wolf’s Sausage Co.
For a truly unique hot dog experience, venture over to Disney Springs and check out B.B. Wolf’s Sausage Co. This little quick-service stand boats several adventurous options for those craving something out of the ordinary.
B.B. Wolf’s is currently offering fan favorites such as The Three Little Pigs (pictured above), which is “three mini versions of our Specialty Dogs: Pastrami Reuben Dog, Hawaiian Island Dog and Texas Chili-Cheese Dog”. Other options include lamb sausage, bratwurst sausage, and Italian sausage – there really is something for everyone here!
Fairfax Faire
You guys, I have three words for you: BLT hot dog. I’ll give you a second to wipe the drool from your chin. Yes folks, that’s right! This quick-service stand in Hollywood Studios has a hot dog topped with BLT fixins’!
Fairfax Faire is a perennial favorite and it’s no wonder why. Their rotating menu features hot dogs that are piled high with crazy-good toppings. For example, the aforementioned BLT dog (it’s actually called the California BLTA Dog) features an all-beef quarter pound hot dog topped with bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado, crushed ranch tortilla chips (a.k.a. Cool Ranch Doritos), and house-made black pepper mayo on a buttery Brioche bun. I KNOW, RIGHT!?
BLT’s not your thing? No problem! Try their Truffle Bacon Mac & Cheese Hot Dog (pictured above) or their famous Pretzel Dog. They even offer a Chicago-style plant-based hot dog salad! I mean, come on guys.
Sleepy Hollow
Another great little spot in Magic Kingdom is Sleepy Hollow. This tiny stand is best known for their waffles, but did you know you can also grab a tasty corn dog here? This old-fashioned hand-dipped corn dog is served up with a side of Sleepy Hollow’s own homemade chips. Simple yet satisfying!
Wetzel’s Pretzels
Sure, it’s a pretzel stand, but they serve up some seriously tasty hot dogs too! Next time you’re wandering around Disney Springs and you get a hankering for a hot dog, stop by this little stand in the West Side.
Choose from a Wetzel Dog, Dog Bites, Cheese Dog, or Cheesy Dog Bites.
Sommerfest
Epcot is severely lacking in the hot dog game. Sommerfest in the Germany pavilion is one of the only places that comes close to offering a suitable dog.
Head on over next time you’re making your way through the World Showcase and grab one of Sommerfest’s famous Bratwursts, served on a freshly baked roll and topped with sauerkraut (don’t forget the mustard!) Pair with a nice cold beer and you’re virtually in Germany. Enjoy!
