Cake Pop Truffle Cupcake Explodes with Fourth Flavor
Captain Cook’s never fails to deliver on holiday-themed treats. This Independence Day weekend is no different! Our MickeyBloggers headed over to Disney’s Polynesian Village resort today to check out this weekend’s explosive special 4th of July cupcake.
The spectacular sweet starts with a moist chocolate cupcake base with a creamy chocolate mousse filling. In a surprise move, the interior also suprises with crunchy cocoa nibs.
This treat gets high praise for its incredible toppings. In fact, it includes an actual cake pop truffle topped with a darling, glittering Mickey Mouse silhoutte.
The cake pop, well, pops with a red zig-zag pattern covering the white chocolate coating.
The buttercream frosting swirls in patriotic colors of deep red, bold blue, and white. Star-spangled sprinkles speckle across the swirls as well with a wealth of crunchy, sugary bits.
The extra crunchy chocolate flare really throws this cupcake over the edge. Certainly, it makes a trip over to the Polynesian a total must this weekend. The cupcake retails for $5.99. Guests can use mobile order too to snag one of these indulgences.
Other exclusive treats for this weekend can be found across the Walt Disney World and Disneyland resort areas. MickeyBloggers hopped on the monorail to try the red velvet concoction whipped up for the weekend at Disney’s Contemporary Resort already today.
