New “Chip ‘n’ Dale Park Life” Series Releasing in July
Everyone’s favorite mischievous chipmunks are getting a brand new series, Chip ‘n’ Dale Park Life, that will launch exclusively on Disney+ July 28th.
The new show will be following the two brothers as they pursue a good life in a busy city park, having giant-sized, sky-high adventures.
The show will reunite the two chipmunks with old friends such as Pluto and Butch as well as other beloved Disney characters.
Chip ‘n’ Dale Park Life is set for 39 episodes, each with a seven-minute run time. It is currently not known if episodes will be combined into half-hour segments, or if they will individual once on the Disney+ platform.
Xilam Animation and The Walt Disney Company France are co-producing the series, with Marc Du Pontavice as the executive producer.
Xilam Animation has found success in series such as Oggy and the Cockroaches and Zig & Sharko, all with Marc Du Pontavice leading the way as the studio’s president.
D23 shared a sneak preview of Chip ‘n’ Dale Park Life today on Twitter, with some Twitter users complaining about the updated animation style of the series.
The animation style matches the Mickey Mouse TV series that began airing in 2013, and that carried on over the Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway.
