New Avatar Video Game Immerses Players in Pandora
Fans of Flight of Passage Pandora: The World of Avatar inside Disney’s Animal Kingdom rejoice! In a new video game set to debut next year, Ubisoft takes players straight to the majestic lands in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.
The game presents a stand-alone story for the franchinse. Gamers “play as a Na’vi and embark on a journey across the Western Frontier, a never-before-seen part of Pandora. Explore a living and reactive world inhabited by unique creatures and new characters, and push back the formidable RDA forces that threaten it,” according to the game description.

The immersive game offers players all of the grandeur of Pandora, including its vibrant colors, calming sounds, and fascinating creatures.

As an open world game, players are free to explore the rolling hills, oceans, and bioluminescent forests native to Pandora. With objectives still to meet, players will also face challenges presented by the Resource Development Administration on their quest to mine Unobtanium. Even the ominous AMP suits make an appearance!

Produced by Ubisoft on their Snowdrop Engine, the game will be published for a range of systems, including PlayStation5, Xbox Series X|S, Stadia, Luna, and PC. Developed by Massive Entertainment, Disney also partnered with Lightstorm Entertainment to pull off the new release in 2022.
