Celebrity Sighting: Shang-Chi’s Simu Liu Paid a Visit to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
Simu Liu took time away from prepping to be the next big thing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to pay a visit to “The Happiest Place on Earth.”

According to a recent piece in ComicBook.com, the actor took time share a few awesome moments at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and was also treated to a sneak peek of the Avengers Campus which opens at Disney California Adventure on June 4th. Liu will be starring in Marvel’s upcoming Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

Took some of my best homies to Disneyland, got a PRIVATE TOUR of Avengers Campus, was one of the first to ride the new Spider-Man Web Slingers ride, got dressed up at Galaxy’s Edge, built lightsabers, gorged ourselves on turkey legs and beignets… and overall had the most incredible day to end off over two weeks of working without weekends”
We’re pretty jealous that Simu Liu got to be among the first to experience Spider-Man Web Slingers but it’s an experience certainly befitting of this Marvel star!

Prior to his Disneyland visit, the actor has previously shared his love of all things Star Wars so it was awesome seeing him experience Black Spire Outpost with his friends!

Excitement is mounting for “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.” as Disney just released the new trailer last month. During last week’s Q2 FY21 Quarterly Earnings call, Disney CEO Bob Chapek also announced that Shang-Chi would be released exclusively in theaters for the first 45 days of its run.

In addition to Liu, Shang-Chi will star Tony Leung as Wenwu, Awkwafina as Shang-Chi’s friend Katy, Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Nan, as well as fellow MCU newcomers Fala Chen, Meng’er Zhang, Florian Munteanu, and Ronny Chieng.
Marvel Studios’ “Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings” follows Shang-Chi, who must confront the past he thought he left behind when he is drawn into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings organization.
