Danny Elfman is Reviving ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’ Concert Event
Danny Elfman is reviving his ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’ concert event in Los Angeles this October. The fully immersive live-to-film event is the ultimate experience for fans of the hit Tim Burton film.
‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’ Concert
The concert will take place on October 29 at the Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles. As you may recall, Elfman was the singing voice of Jack Skellington, as well as the composer for the movie’s music, lyrics, and score. The last time he put on this spectacular show was over three ago, which makes its return even more exciting for Los Angeles area fans.
According to Disney Concerts, the “full feature, live-action” concert features “entire film score performed in concert synchronized to feature film complete with dialogue, songs and sound effects“.
In previous years, special guest appearances included Catherine O’Hara (voice of Sally), Ken Page (voice of Oogie Boogie), and Paul Reubens (voice of Lock, and the famous Pee-Wee Herman, I might add). Elfman has also been known to perform surprise songs not in the script.
Ticket prices start at $39.90 and go on sale today at 10:00am EST. You can purchase yours on Ticketmaster.com.
