Rise of the Resistance Virtual Queue Distribution Times for Disneyland Have Been Announced
Star Wars fans will once again join the fight with the Resistance when the Rise of the Resistance attraction reopens in Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland on April 30th. The exciting attraction will have a virtual queue boarding group procedure just like before. Similar to the process at Disney World, the boarding passes will be issued twice a day, once in the morning at 7am and again 12pm.
Guests wanting to experience Rise of the Resistance will need to have a valid Disneyland ticket and reservation, but they won’t need to be at the park. The virtual queue can be accessed from anywhere using the Disneyland app. That means you can be at your home, hotel room, or on your way to the park. Guests with a Disney California Adventure parkhopper ticket will not be able to access the 7am virtual queue, but they can access it at 12pm. Disneyland ticket holders will also be able to access the virtual queue again at noon. Visitors with single-park tickets for Disney California Adventure won’t have access to the Rise of the Resistance virtual queue.
For the noon virtual queue, guests will have to have entered Disneyland or Disney California Adventure. Those with DCA tickets won’t need to be in Disneyland to access the virtual queue boarding groups. Guests with DCA parkhopper tickets will be able to enter Disneyland starting at 1 p.m. each day.
Disneyland Park Passes are now a MANDATORY part of the planning process for those visiting the theme parks. Due to COVID-19 capacity restrictions, Disneyland will be regulating the number of guests that visit the park each day.
In order to monitor this, guests are now required to make a park pass reservation IN ADDITION TO having a valid Disneyland theme park ticket. If you do not have both a ticket and a park pass you will not be allowed into the theme park.
Before your buy your ticket or book your Disneyland Hotel stay, it is recommended that you FIRST check theme park pass availability. If there aren’t passes available on the day you were planning on visiting the parks, you will not be allowed to enter.
Disneyland and Disney California Adventure will reopen for the first time on April 30 after the COVID-19 pandemic closed the Anaheim theme parks for more than a year.
