Casey Jr’s Splash n’ Soak Is Getting a Fresh New Look!
Casey Jr’s Splash n’ Soak is gearing up for its grand return in Storybook Circus! Although we haven’t been able to laugh and play with any of our circus friends since the 2020 closure, it certainly seems like they’re gearing up to play again very soon!
The kid-friendly play area was always full of youngsters looking to cool off and burn some of that magical Disney energy. With the entire Storybook Circus section still fully closed, I’m pleased to report the Magic Kingdom area geared towards its youngest guests looks like it will definitely be returning in the future! Here’s what I found out when I investigated Storybook Circus…
Casey Jr’s Splash n’ Soak
I visited Magic Kingdom this past week to check up on the Casey Jr. remodel, and to my delight there are already a few water features that have received a full repaint! Look at that bright and shiny paint glisten on the monkey caravan!
The main water spray area, though, is currently hidden behind Disney’s famous go-away-green bushes. That means something is brewing out of the guests’ sig
I was able to take a little peek behind the bushes and can confirm that the giraffe wagon is stripped and prepped for a brand new coat of paint!
Although the remodel is coming along nicely, it’ll likely be a few more months before we see the water features operating again.
Since this type of water play area would require guests to be maskless, it’s likely that Disney’s mask policy will need to be completely lifted before kids can safely splash again.
One thing is for sure: Disney is clearly planning for capacity increases and for the future of the Parks. Casey Jr’s Splash n’ Soak was always an area I spent some time in with my young family members- but I want to know your thoughts! Did you frequent Casey Jr’s Splash n’ Soak?
