Disney World Updates Wilderness Lodge Room Photos To Show Refurbished Rooms
If you’ve been following along with MickeyBlog then you’ll know that Disney’s Wilderness Lodge has been closed to the public since the pandemic and is slated to reopen on June 6, 2021. We also noticed something very interesting when visiting the resort page on disneyworld.com! The resort room photos have bene updated to show some exciting changes!
The standard guest rooms have been updated. As you can see they now boast brand new headboards, hard flooring and updated furnishings.
King Bed rooms are available at the property as are the standard two queen beds.
However, it should be noted that there are no longer bunk bed rooms at Wilderness Lodge.
The headboards and backdrops definitely give the rooms a more modern feel.
Unlike the rooms at the Polynesian, the refurbishment at Wilderness Lodge doesn’t appear to involve Disney characters.
Above you can get a closer look at the window treatments, color schemes and furnishings.
Bathrooms also received an upgrade! They feature the double sinks, marble countertops and granite-style artwork.
The rustic feel is carried through to the shower/tub area with dark iron fixtures and a wooden-themed wall.
We are excited to see these upgrades and can’t wait for the property to officially start welcoming guests back this Summer so that we can pop in an have a look at the new rooms!
