Crowds Heavier at EPCOT as Disney World Heads Into Easter Weekend
TGIF Disney friends! MickeyBlog is at EPCOT this morning where we are definitely noticing an increase in crowds as we head into Easter weekend!
As we head into one of the last big Spring Break weekends of 2020, you can see that even with capacity restrictions at EPCOT the lines are a bit longer than usual.
We typically haven’t noticed much of a queue for EPCOT’s Spaceship Earth since the park reopened last June with this morning being and exception!
It was a very similar situation over at Test Track where cast members were out directing the queue.
These lines snaking through Future World give us a good idea of the increase crowd levels.
As we previously reported here at MickeyBlog, Park Passes for all four Walt Disney World theme parks during Easter weekend have sold out well in advance.
This means that all four theme parks will at least be at 35% capacity throughout the weekend.
This is the maximum allowed under current mandates.
6 feet social distancing is still being enforced across all attractions.
This does have the tendency to make lines look slightly longer than they appear.
Here’s a look at the current wait times during our visit this morning.
By far the longest lines we saw were at Frozen Ever After located at the Norway Pavilion in the World Showplace.
The line your actually looking at is for the beloved Frozen attraction which snakes all the way over to the neighboring China Pavilion.
The line for Frozen was apparently at 60 minutes at the time we took this image.
We’ll be at Disney all weekend where we’ll be coming to you with even more Walt Disney World news and updates.
