Mickey and the Gang Get New Outfits for Shanghai Disneyland’s Fifth Birthday
In honor of Shanghai Disneyland’s 5th birthday this year, Mickey and the gang have brand new outfits for the occasion!

As you can see in the picture above, Mickey and Minnie have matching outfits that have gold, purple and ivory accents. Mickey, of course, donning his top hat. Goofy’s is sporting red and gold, Daisy and Donald have white outfits with blue accents, and Chip and Dale are wearing their new blue and tel vests.

Shanghai Disney first opened its magical gates to guests on June 16, 2016 and as we inch ever closer to the resort’s 5th Anniversary Disney is starting to reveal the exciting plans it has in store! In just five years Shanghai Disney has gained a reputation as being one of the most innovative parks in the world which is why the company is pulling out all of the stops for a “Year of Magical Surprises!”
The festivities will kick off on April 8th and will include an awesome line-up of exclusive experiences and sensational surprises across Shanghai Disneyland’s two hotels, the theme park, Disneytown and beyond.

Highlights will including a breathtaking nighttime spectacular, “ILLUMINATE! A Nighttime Celebration,” as well as an anniversary-themed overlay on the iconic castle! They’ll even be a new Mickey’s Storybook Express pre-parade!
In addition, each land of the park will be illuminated and Mickey Avenue will be adorned with stunning 5th Anniversary decorations. As you stroll through the parks also keep your ears open for new soundtracks that will bring the celebration to life in memorable ways. Shops will also be stocked with limited-edition souvenirs allowing guests to take the memories home!
