Polynesian Resort Water Play Area Refurbishment Announced
Future guests planning on staying at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows should be aware that Disney has just announced that the Kiki Tikis Splash Play Area will be unavailable starting next month. The Polynesian Resort Refurbishment begins February and continues through March 2021.
This work will require a full downtime of the water feature. During this time, guests may enjoy the Lava feature pool and slide and the Oasis pool at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.

This refurbishment joins the previously announced work being preformed at the Great Ceremonial House which has caused the monorail service to this Resort Hotel to be temporarily suspended.
The rest of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is still scheduled to be re-opened during this summer.

- Bus transportation is available from this Disney Resort hotel to Magic Kingdom park, EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and the Disney Springs area
- Water taxi transportation is limited, transporting Guests from this Disney Resort hotel to Magic Kingdom park
- Monorail transportation is not available for EPCOT and Magic Kingdom park
- The walkway to the Transportation and Ticket Center is open, where Guests may access the monorail and ferry boats to Magic Kingdom park
