PHOTO TOUR of WDW Dolphin King Bed Room!
The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin are two of the most underrated Resorts on Disney’s expansive Florida Property. First off, they are located just a short walk from both the Epcot and Hollywood Studios entrances. Secondly, although they aren’t owned by Disney, they located in the heart of the bustling Walt Disney World Property!
I’ve always loved to stay at the Swan or Dolphin. Especially when fireworks return to the Parks, the two hotels offer views of the Epcot and Hollywood Studios pyrotechnics that are just at top-notch as staying at any of the other Crescent Lake Resorts!
I recently stayed at the Walt Disney World Dolphin during the COVID-19 pandemic and everything from the service to the cleanliness of my immaculate room were on par with any service I’ve ever experienced at a Disney owned and operated Resort.
The bright, super spacious room was a welcome sight for any weary traveler’s eyes! The split toilet/sink set up in the bathroom area grants everyone access to the sink even when the bathroom is occupied.
The extra counter space near the coffee maker was a great spot for storing and preparing our snacks and breakfast items for the next day, while the mini fridge kept it all cold and fresh for us.
The view from my room overlooked a far-off Contemporary and a teeny-tiny Cinderella Castle, making my view the stuff of any Disney fan’s dreams.
If you have to get some work done while on vacation, I highly recommend booking your stay at the Dolphin! Much quieter and more adult-friendly than some of the themed Disney Resorts, every room at the Dolphin features a desk and comfy desk chair perfect for keeping up with your work duties while still feeling like you’re on vacation!
The cleanliness of the room was impeccable, and the modern amenities like the USB ports on the nightstands made prepping for a Park day easy breezy!
Just a 5-minute walk from Epcot and a 15-minute walk to Hollywood Studios, the Walt Disney World Dolphin is definitely a place I will stay again…will you? Leave me a comment and let me know!

Hi. Thanks so much for this great article on the Swan and Dolphin.
Since June, 2007, we’ve stayed at the Dolphin 13 times, and the Swan once.
We LOVE the Dolphin, especially since the 2017 renovation occurred.
I’ve made a video for my youtube channel (Ken Brenner) about the Dolphin we like it so much.
Because of my status with Marriott, I always get an upgrade to a nice room.
Several times, we got a room with a balcony facing Crescent Lake (could see the Epcot fireworks from there).
We really like the Crescent Lake area and Epcot, so the Dolphin is an excellent place to stay.
We call it our “Disney Home”.
I will look at your YouTube channel.
We are retired and live in north Georgia (about to relocate to Mississippi).
We normally come down to Disney once per year, and hope to resume that once the mask mandate goes away and the park hours return to normal (or close to it).
God Bless…
Maria – what is the name of your YouTube channel?
I looked for “DisneyWorldLocal!” from your article above, but could not find it.
Thanks…
Thanks for your comment Ken! Getting a balcony room upgrade at the Dolphin must have been an amazing experience, I’m jealous! Here’s a link to my YouTube channel, I hope you enjoy the videos! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCn37ZfBHGiRtkuZ9_ojLRfA
