Disney’s Boardwalk Expands Outdoor Dining Options!
The Boardwalk is one of the most sprawling and expansive Resorts on Disney Property! The sweeping views of a bustling Crescent Lake paired with the unmatched access to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios makes staying at the Boardwalk a completely unique experience.
Also unique to the Boardwalk are its many waterfront dining options! Just recently, the Boardwalk expanded its outdoor dining offerings to better serve guests safely.
Outdoor Dining on the Boardwalk
If you’re like me, you haven’t seen the inside of a restaurant since early March. Disney is by far the safest, cleanest place I’ve been since this COVID pandemic started, but still…I simply don’t feel comfortable dining inside anywhere.
The Boardwalk just jumped up about a million points in my book with their expanded outdoor dining options! The Flying Fish was the first eatery I spotted sporting some new outdoor tables.
Before, the Flying Fish was usually an inside-only restaurant, and I think the addition of these waterfront tables will add a new curb appeal to the fine dining location!
If you’re in the mood for a more relaxed Table Service meal, walk just a few yards past Flying Fish to Trattoria al Forno! Here, you can feast on classic Italian eats al fresco.
The Pizza Window, The Boardwalk Bakery, and the many drink and snack kiosks located along the Boardwalk are all open and ready to serve!
The expansive grab-and-go options lend themselves beautifully to safe, outdoor dining!
With tables and benches located both outside along the building facades and along the waterfront, there is certainly no shortage of open-air tables to grab after you’ve secured your food.
Including Leaping Horse Libations (the pool bar featuring light lunch and drink items), The Boardwalk currently has the most dining locations open of any Disney Resort! Which of the eateries along the Boardwalk is your favorite?
