Disney World Sending Out Updated “Know Before You Go” Email To Guests

Guests with an upcoming Disney world resort reservation have been receiving new ‘Know Before You Go’ emails letting them know of some of the recent changes ahead for their upcoming vacations. 

Here’s a copy of the letter going out to guests:

VIEW in your browser Get Ready To Do The Parks! We’re so excited to finally share our small worlds and big thrills. And can’t wait to hear you “let it go” and shout yo ho. The magic is here! Along with a few new ways to bring it to you. Know Before You Go Before you arrive, remember to check the latest Theme Park operating hours as well as attraction and entertainment availability. Guests who have tickets that include  Park Hopper® benefits will be able to visit more than one Park per day, with some new modifications as part of our ongoing focus on health and safety. Don’t forget to get in the picture while you’re here! Disney PhotoPass® Service is still available throughout the Parks. Check here for the latest information on the Theme Parks.   Together We Can Make Today Incredible We can all do our part to save the day and look out for the well-being of our fellow Guests and Cast Members. Please be sure that everyone in your party is aware of these tips for an incredible vacation: Cover up dahling. It’s not just stylish—it’s smart. Face coverings will be required for Guests 2 years and older. Maintain proper distance. Physical distancing measures will be in place throughout the Resort. Be cool. Check your temp. If you or anyone in your party is experiencing a fever of 100.4 or more or feeling sick in any way, please contact us to reschedule your visit. Washing your hands is super. We will be asking you to wash or sanitize hands frequently. For your convenience, hand washing and sanitization stations will be available across the Resort. Use the power of contactless payments. It is recommended all Guests use cashless or contactless payment options, such as MagicBands, credit cards, debit cards, Disney Gift Cards, and mobile wallets. My Disney Experience App Is Your Key To It All To stay up-to-date during your visit, it is more important than ever for Guests to download and set up the latest version of the My Disney Experience app on their phones. You’ll use it to minimize physical contact during your visit and enjoy the ease of services such as: Park Maps Make it easy to find your way Mobile Ordering at select Quick-Service restaurants For assistance with your reservation, please contact your Travel Provider.

One of the updates in this email is mentioning Park Hopping will be returning as of January 1, 2021. That’s right, starting on January 1, 2021 guests who purchased a ticket package or annual pass with Park Hopper benefits will be able to once again visit more than one park per day. 

However, due to social distancing requirements and Disney World’s commitment to health and safety, there are some changes to be aware of.

Under Disney’s Park Pass reservation system, guests must STILL make a park pass reservation for the first park you plan to visit AND you MUST visit that park before you visit another.  

In addition, Disney World has set up specific Park Hopper hours.  They start at 2pm each day and end at the theme parks closing time. Guests will be able to visit DisneyWorld.com/ParkHours and the My Disney Experience app for the most up-to-date Park Hopper® hours, as they could start earlier at a later date, depending on the day and park.

Disney World also announced that Park-to-park transportation will be resuming in 2021.  Buses will start running just prior to Park Hopper hours, which again are slated to start at 2pm.
