The Walt Disney Family Museum: A Virtual Visit
Currently, the museum is closed to the public, but you can visit it virtually…
Unfortunately, but accounting for public safety, The Walt Disney Family Museum temporarily closed its doors.
Closed Doors, Virtual Programs
Based on San Francisco’s shift to the purple tier, The Walt Disney Family Museum will be closed beginning Sunday, November 29…
“We continue to remain deeply committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for our visitors and staff,” says museum Executive Director Kirsten Komoroske. “I am grateful for the generous support that we have received from our community; I look forward to welcoming you back to the museum when we are permitted to reopen”…
We will continue to regularly provide immersive and engaging virtual programming so that you can enjoy the museum from the comfort of your home. From virtual tours and exhibitions to in-depth talks, workshops, classes, and group activities, we have a variety of virtual experiences for you to enjoy at waltdisney.org/virtual.
Lots To Do At The Walt Disney Family Museum

Virtual Tour | Walt Disney: Innovation in Storytelling with Tour Guide Chris Mullen
During this virtual tour of the museum, take a deeper look at the life and career of Walt Disney; [focus] on themes of innovation and diversity of talent at his Studio.
This tour is part of a week-long array of free virtual programming in honor of Walt’s Birthday in 2020 to allow everyone the opportunity to enjoy the museum from the comfort of their own home.
The more I see of this place, the more I want to see – in person!
